Abstract: THE ROLE OF SUPPLY CHAIN INTEGRATION IN IMPROVING LOGISTICS EFFICIENCY
The objective of this study is to explore the role of supply chain integration in improving logistics efficiency, focusing on its impact on coordination, process optimization, and overall logistics performance. A survey design is employed due to its effectiveness in collecting data from a diverse population. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 310 respondents is determined to ensure statistical significance. The case study is conducted in Port Harcourt, focusing on a manufacturing company with integrated supply chain operations. The reliability coefficient score of 0.86 indicates high reliability. Findings suggest that supply chain integration significantly enhances logistics efficiency by improving coordination and process optimization. Recommendations include adopting integrated supply chain systems and continuously monitoring their impact on logistics performance.
